CAMTAD is a registered charity. We are supported by grants from NHS Cambridgeshire and Cambridgeshire County Council and we raise funds to cover the balance of our needs from private donations, fund raising activities, and grants for specific projects where appropriate. The production of the DVD was made possible with the aid of Lottery Funding.
The number of deaf or hard of hearing people in the population is growing, largely due to our increased longevity, so the need for our work has never been greater. However our grants have not expanded with the increasing need.
